Fort Worth Bird Club Meeting

Adapting Natural Behaviors to the Living Room
Speaker - Jamie Whittaker

Parrots have specific hard-wired behaviors that have evolved over the years to help them to survive in their environment. If we can understand the natural behaviors of our birds and learn to adapt them to the living room we can have happier flocks in our homes.

Guests are Welcome! Free Admission!

The Fort Worth Bird Club meets at 2:00 PM, the second Sunday of each month at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden Center. The Center is located at 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard, north of Interstate-30 in Fort Worth.  A schedule of the current year's meetings and speakers is available on our Meetings page.

The meeting consists of a brief business session, a door prize, pot luck snacks, club raffle, and that afternoon's program.

The monthly programs vary from current breeding methods to the latest avian medical information.  During the monthly meetings information is exchanged on a wide variety of avian topics. The knowledge gained during these fellowship times is invaluable to the fancy. The most current methods, trends, reports, breedings, and products are frequently passed along by word of mouth long before that information is actually published. cocktiel2.gif (2873 bytes)
